Open/Honest is: an exploration of sounds, ideas, and processes, an attempt to speak without speaking, melodies coalescing from memories, a lifetime of recursion condensed into sound, nature and the city heard as a refraction.

My name is Felix Rodriguez I’ve been a backing musician playing bass for nearly a decade. Acting as a hired musician for recording sessions, playing live shows, and composing. Open/Honest is the alias I’ve adopted for my solo project. This debut EP was written and recorded over the summer of 2018. It is a thought experiment made concrete.
